- What is radical transparency?
Fleet owners get offered a base rate to deliver orders, which they in turn offer a fraction of to the drivers, pocketing the rest, in addition to the tip. That payment can be as much as $100 on a $1,000+ order. In contrast, we take that base rate payment and give you 100% of the gross payout. Plus the tip. No one else does that (or even wants you to know what that looks like).
- What is tip pooling?
That’s the practice of taking the actual tip you would have made; dumping it into a bucket and at the end of each week or month, splitting the total amount collected among all of the drivers during that time frame. The problem with that is that there is zero accountability into how much actually came in, so the platform can hold back money for their own use. And they do; it costs a lot to support infrastructure.
- Do I need anything to take deliveries?
Yes. We'll need to have an updated MVR, a background check, or both for some of the platforms we do deliveries for. You'll need catering bags, and potentially a trolley or dolly. Our on-boarding specialist will walk you through that when we chat.
- Do I need any special insurance?
Yes. We provide HNOA insurance at our cost through a provider, which is required by our biggest partners.
- Are there opportunities in [Name Your City]?
Absolutely! We offer delivery opportunities from coast to coast, spanning over 150 major cities to the tiniest of towns. Simply let us know your location and we'll connect you with available delivery tasks. Reach out to our onboarding team via chat, and we'll promptly include you in our delivery database for assignments.
- Free gas?
Yes! Every catering delivery is a mission to be completed, and when you complete your mission within the parameters provided (usually within a 10 minute window for each expected delivery arrival), you'll earn a point that can be redeemed for gas. Take 30 deliveries and earn a free tank of gas (varies by the car; some cars may need more points to achieve a full tank of gas). We keep you going for the distance!
- When do I get paid?
Once your account is active, you receive payouts at 11am, 4pm, or 9pm based on the completion time of your deliveries. Funds are instantly transferred to a digital spending card or directly to your debit card upon payment request.
